Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Student gains knowledge about influence of ionizing and non-ionizing radiation on a matter. Furthermore, student will know the principles of various types of radiation detection which are widely present in a space. Important part of the knowledge is basic construction and principles of detectors which are used for various types of radiation detection. Graduate will be able to consider the influence of various radiation types on elements and systems exploited in outer space. Course Contents:
